FPA Houston 2012 Foundation Golf Classic
 The 5th Annual FPA of Houston Foundation Golf Classic was held on April 24th at Wildcat Golf Club in Houston. The event was extremely successful and we had 20 foursomes on the course! Click here to view the complete photo album.

FPA of Houston Recognized at Chapter Leaders Conference
The Financial Planning Association® (FPA®) of Houston was recognized at FPA’s 2011 Chapter Leaders Conference as a Roadmap to Success Recipient. The chapter was honored for its accomplishments and efforts in chapter operations, chapter leadership, community outreach, member outreach, membership development and special achievements.
“It’s an honor to be recognized for our achievements,” said W. Ben Keel, III, president of FPA of Houston. “We’ve worked diligently over the past year to increase our success and are proud that our efforts have been recognized on a national level.”
FPA President Martin Kurtz, CFP®, AIFA®, and Chapter Leadership Resource Council Chair Shannon Pike, CFP®, presented the award. W. Ben Keel, III, CFP®, President; Cole Campbell, CFP®, Chairman; Melisa Hall, FPA Houston Executive Director; Kurt Box, CFP®, AIF, MS; 2011 Education Director; Matt Caire, 2012 Education Director; Paul Dickens, CLU, ChFC, 2012 Membership Director; Gary Wurl, CFP®, Technology Director; Don McCurdy, Pro Bono/Foundation Director; and Jay Kabad, CFP®, 2012 Public Relations Director, accepted the award on behalf of FPA of Houston.
